Abstract:The SR-AOPs advanced oxidation process based on sulfate radical which was produced from sodium persulfate activated by Fe2+ was applied to treat the secondary effluent of papermaking wastewater( CODCr 85~110 mg/L ), the process consisted of advanced oxidation tower, ion sedimentation tank and sand filter. The results of pilot trial showed that SR-AOPs were efficient for advanced treatment of papermaking wastewater. Under the optimum condition, PS (sodium persulfate activated by Fe2+)dosage was 1.5 mmol/L, Fe2+ dosage was 2.25 mmol/L, PS∶Fe2+ ratio was 2∶3, CODCr of effluent was reduced to 31.2 mg/L, CODCr removal rate reached 70%, SS was less than 5 mg/L, SO2-4 was 203.5 mg/L, the quality of effluent reached the papermaking wastewater discharge regulation GB3544—2008, and the treatment cost was about 2.831 yuan/t.
