Abstract:The wastewater from a recycled paper mill in Tianjin City was treated by using IC-Surface aeration oxidation ditch-Fenton process. The treatment capacity was 25000 m3/d. The operation results showed that recycled paper mill wastewater could be treated effectively through this process. The values of pH, CODCr, BOD5 and SS of the effluent were equal to or less than 7.2, 52 mg/L, 10 mg/L and 8 mg/L respectively. The effluent quality met the discharge regulation for pulp and paper industry (GB 3544—2008).
