| Abstract:The online indirect measurement principle of the retention by using Metso KajaaniRM3 wet end analyzer to measure the consistencies of the fiber and calcium carbonate in the white water under the wire was introduced. The structure and measurement principle of the instrument, as well as the automatic control scheme of retention were also introduced based on its application in the PM16 special paper machine of Mudanjiang Hengfeng Paper Corporation. Finally the relation between retention controlling and the factors affecting retention was discussed. |
