Abstract:The values of effective residual ink concentration(ERIC) of deinked ONP pulps and MOW pulps from different deinking stages were measured, the formula of its measuring principle was analyzed with Matlab software, results showed that, the surface appeared saltation when the opacity of the pulp sample exceeded 97%, so scattering coefficient S in the formula was amended as follows,S=1000αw. The values of αwere 3.01 for ONP pulp and 3.82 for MOW pulp. The effective residual ink concentration could be calculated combining the basis weight of the sample,this method could reduce the system error.
