| Abstract:Zeolite pigment was used as the sole pigment in the ink-jet paper, and the influences of PVA-1788, PVA-1799, carboxystyrene-butadiene latex on the properties of the ink-jet papers were discussed by using single factor control variable method. The properties of the ink-jet papers were characterized by testing the physical properties such as whiteness, opacity, gloss, roughness, dynamic contact angle and the print properties such as solid density, CIE L*a*b* values, color difference ΔE*Lab value of CMYK. The experimental results showed that PVA-1788 is the best binder among the three binders used in ink-jet paper based on zeolite pigment，and the optimal dosage of PVA-1788 is 20 parts for 100 parts dry zeolite pigment. |
