| Abstract:The properties of yellow writing paper were studied by changing the proportion of poplar APMP in paper furnish. These properties included L*a*b*, physical strength and ash content. The results revealed that the brightness decreased, a* kept stable, and b* increased by increasing the proportion of poplar APMP in paper furnish. The bulk of paper was significantly improved, both the tensile and burst indexes decreased. The change of ash content was insignificant. |
