Abstract:Focusing on tobacco flakes, this study analyzes in-depth the carbon footprinting methodology, carbon emission influencing factors, and discusses effective carbon reduction measures in the context of the dual-carbon target. A suitable carbon footprinting methodology is used to derive the carbon emissions from each production process of paper-based tobacco flakes and the percentage of carbon emissions from different types of energy consumption, and it is found that energy consumption in the production stage is the main source of carbon emissions, with electricity consumption contributing the most to the carbon emissions. We analyze the impacts of energy use, production process and raw materials on carbon emissions, and then propose carbon reduction strategies such as energy management, process optimization and industry chain synergy, with the aim of providing theoretical basis and practical references for the green and sustainable development of tobacco flakes and the tobacco industry as a whole. |
