Abstract:Proton exchange membrane fuel cell has attracted much attention due to its advantages such as high efficiency, low noise, and pollution-free. However, there are still many problems to be solved urgently, such as the complexity of the water management system, weak medium transport capacity, poor lifespan and stability, and high catalyst cost. Optimizing the performance of carbon paper-based gas diffusion layer has become the key to improving the efficiency and service life of fuel cells. This paper reviews the research progress in optimizing the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells in terms of the preparation and modification of gas diffusion layers in recent years, aiming to provide references and ideas for the future development of PEMFC. |
