Abstract:In this study, the equivalent area model ring method was used to test the softness of diapers. The influences of curly direction, tensile speed, size, core structure and selected radius R1 on the softness were discussed. The test results show that the inward curl softness is greater than or equal to the outward curl softness; When the tensile speed is less than 8mm/s, the flexibility value is more stable; The influence of thickness on softness is greater than that of width; While the thickness and width are the same, the raw materials, internal structure of the diaper, and internal filling materials are different, resulting in different softness of the two. When R1≠R, the test softness should be corrected according to the E value and ring spacing (2mm or 3mm).The results show that the equivalent area model ring method can be used as a method to detect the softness of diapers. According to the test results, the softness of diapers can be graded, which is basically consistent with the test results of sensory softness. |
