| Abstract:With the implementation of the national dual carbon goals and intense market competition, how to further reduce carbon emissions and energy costs is a key issue to be urgently addressed for the paper industry. The drying section is the most energy-intensive part in the papermaking process. Therefore, this paper focuses on the optimization of energy consumption in the dryer section of paper machines and overviews the research progress in three related areas, the updates in drying section equipment and technology, the optimization of drying section system, the prediction and optimization model of drying section energy consumption. Besides, the some representative research works are specifically analyzed. The paper would help readers gain a more clear and comprehensive understanding of the research progress in this field. |
