Abstract:For researching the influence of circulating white water on qualities of reconstituted tobacco, the changes of qualities of white water, physical properties of sheet base, and sensory properties of products with different days of water recycling were analyzed. The results showed that: With the recycling of white water, 1) For the aspect of the physicochemical properties of white water, the contents of insoluble substances, soluble substances and calcium carbonate in insoluble substances gradually increased. The comparison of the amounts of variation for different physicochemical properties was as follows: Soluble substance content > insoluble substance content > calcium carbonate content in insoluble substances. Among them, soluble substance content grew with a stable linear trend; the pH value decreased gradually; the cationic demand increased gradually; the ammonia nitrogen content increased gradually and rev up in the later period; the electrical conductivity showed a significant logarithmic growth trend. 2) For the aspect of the physical properties of the sheet base, the bulk and tensile decreased gradually, the calcium carbonate content increased gradually, and the softness decreased at first,then increased. 3) For the aspect of the sensory quality of the products, after 2 days of white water recycling, the sensory quality began to decrease, and from the 5th day, the sensory quality decreased significantly. |
