Abstract:To achieve accurate detection of the adhesion quality on cigarette tipping paper, a spectral confocal detection system has been established. This system enables the measurement of the thickness and distribution uniformity of adhesives on the surface of the tipping paper. By comparing the results with those obtained from scanning electron microscopy, the accuracy of the spectral confocal detection method has been further verified. The results indicate that the spectral confocal system is capable of precisely capturing subtle differences in the thickness of adhesives in the gluing areas of the same sample. Different types of tipping paper exert a significant influence on the thickness of adhesives, with the measured thickness ranging from 8.7 μm to 15.1 μm across three types of samples.
