摘要:纤维素纳米晶体(CNC)是从天然纤维素中提取的纳米纤维素,是一种可再生、可生物降解,且具有生物相容性的功能纳米材料。胶体稳定的CNC颗粒具有在水中自组装成胆甾相液晶的倾向,这种液晶可以根据其周期性、结构和形貌进行改性,因此受到广泛关注;CNC液晶相通过蒸发诱导自组装(EISA)可以形成具有手性向列液晶相的虹彩薄膜,具有广阔的应用前景。本文综述了CNC的手性向列液晶行为、环境响应及其在电子、医疗、食品等行业的应用,并展望了CNC手性向列材料未来的研究方向和发展前景,以期为今后手性材料的研发与应用提供参考。
Abstract:Cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) are nanofibers extracted from natural fibers. It not only has the characteristics of nanoparticles, but also shows the advantages of renewability, biodegradability, and biocompatibility. Colloidal stable CNC particles have a tendency to self-assemble into cholesteric liquid crystals in water, which can be modified according to their periodicity, structure, and morphology, therefore the CNC has been widely studied and has broad application prospects. CNC can form an iridescent film with chiral nematic liquid crystal phase by evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA). The chiral nematic liquid crystal behavior, environmental response, and application of CNC in electronic, medical and food industries were reviewed in this paper. The futural research highlights and development of CNC-based chiral nematic materials were proposed as well, which in order to provide reference for the future application of chiral materials.
