摘要:采用聚乙烯亚胺(PEI)和十二烷基磺酸钠(SDS),通过浸渍法对硅藻土进行表面改性,研究了硅藻土对PEI的吸附,硅藻土改性后Zeta电位、粒径和形貌特征的变化,以及纸浆中添加改性硅藻土对浆料Zeta电位和滤水性的影响。研究结果表明,PEI能够对硅藻土进行有效改性,与硅藻土相比,PEI改性硅藻土颗粒表面Zeta电位由负电性转变为正电性,粒径增加,当PEI平衡吸附浓度为0.24 mg/mL时,硅藻土颗粒Zeta电位和粒径分别为25.03 mV和14.05 μm。PEI改性硅藻土作为造纸填料,可有效提高浆料Zeta电位,并改善浆料滤水性能。 |
Abstract:Using polyethyleneimine(PEI)and sodium dodecyl sulfate as modifiers, the surface of diatomite particles was modified by impregnation method. The adsorption of diatomite to PEI was investigated. The morphology, particle size, and Zeta potential of the PEI modified diatomite filler were also determined. The influences of modified diatomite filler on filler retention, Zeta potential and drainability of furnish were studied. The results indicated that PEI was effective to modified diatomite.Compared with the unmodified diatomite, Zeta potential of the modified diatomite was changed from electronegative to electropositive.Particle size was also increased. The Zeta potential and particle size of the diatomite particles were 25.03 mV and 14.05 μm, when the equilibrium adsorption concentration of the PEI was 0.24 mg/mL. PEI modified diatomite filler can effectively improve the Zeta potential of the pulp. The filtering performance of pulp was effectively improved. |
