Abstract:Pretreatment with endo-cellulose before beating can reduce beating energy consumption. However, the effect is quite different when the enzyme is utilized to different fiber raw materials. Three kinds of bleached softwood pulps were pretreated with endo-cellulose N476, and the data of beating degree, water retention value, and contact angle were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the pulps which have thin cell wall, long fiber and wide lumen can get higher values of drainability, wettability, surface area and beating degree after pretreatment. |
