Many problems with the system were formed in the trial production, such as the irrational design and installation of the beating section, forming section and press section etc. This paper provided the solutions for the problems in production process. The better performance of the production line including speed raised 32 m/min, annual output increased 3000 t, and operation rate increased 7 units was achieved.]]></description>

However the winkle of the paper on paper machine will not be identified due to this unveness is not so significant. Therefore the offset printed wrinkle of the paper can be solved by drying section modification, paper machine well maintenance and process control.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Two domestic conventional fourdrinier machines, with 2640 mm of width and 400 m/min of running speed, producing cultural paper have been running since last century, in order to improve the paper quality, the two-sideness and formation in particular, they were rebuilt mainly by installing a top former which creates the opposite dewatering supplied by a domestic supplier. The dewatering speed on the wire increases and the two-sideness of the paper reduces, product quality upgrades significantly after application of the top former.]]></description>

The pH value of system decreases continuously when white water is recycling in production, it causes difficulty of addition of alum. Traditional anionic dispersion rosin size is sensitive to pH value, sizing becomes inefficient if pH value of system is not in the range of 4.6~5.3. Cationic dispersion rosin size application technology in the critical conditions, and in the production of special printing plate liner paper, which requires specific pH value of paper water extract, were discussed in this paper.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The production practice indicated that the runability of straw on fourdrinier can be improved significantly if the pulp is refined by the high consistency disc refiner, the wet end break rate decreases 80%, the strength of the paper increases 10% which is equivalent to that of the paper containing 10% wood pulp. On a fourdrinier machine with open pick-up and conventional press, the runability of production of 52 g/m<sup>2</sup> offset paper containing 100% straw pulp at a speed of 220 m/min is as good as that containing 100% wood pulp. Its operation speed can be up to 500 m/min when the machine equips with vacuum pick-up and complex press unit.]]></description>

This new process can reduce COD pollutant and is an energy saving and environmentally friendly pulping process.]]></description>

The results showed that in the same pulping condition, comparing with only wheat straw soda pulping, when the mix ratio of wheat straw: reed was 1∶1, the advantage of mixed wheat straw and reed soda pulping included higher yield and better drainage performance of the pulp, comparing with only reed soda pulping, the uncooked rejects of mixing cooking were much less. This process was of benefit to lower down the operation cost and improve the profit.]]></description>

Polyvinylamine could improve machine efficiency, optimize raw material and save energy and so on. Finally, it could reduce the total cost of operation.]]></description>

Considering large amount of plastic contained in the solid waste, the 16°slant boiler with reciprocating grate, the fuel gas was cleaned with semi-dry process and cloth bag dust remover, denitrogen was carried out by SCR process. The efficient incineration of the solid waste achieved the design targets, reduction of the waster volume was over 97%.]]></description>

Refining or beating of chemical pulp is one of the most important operations when preparing papermaking fibers for papers or paperboards production. Effect of enzyme pre-treatment before refining and the type of refiner on refining energy consumption of bleached softwood kraft pulp (NBKP) and bleached hardwood kraft pulp (LBKP) was analyzed in this work. Results revealed that the specific refining energy consumption of LBKP and NBKP with using cylindrical refiner was lower than that of using disc-type refiners. There was great difference of refining energy consumption with or without enzyme pre-treatment when cylindrical refiner was used to treat commercial NBKP.]]></description>

For many kinds of paper, the integrated technology could replace  traditional paper sizing and surface enhancing technology, and reduce   production cost while not decrease paper strength，chemicals consumption could be reduced about 8.5 kg /ton paper，these was considerable economic environmental and benefits.]]></description>

The new design included a umbrella centrifugal diffuser at the end of outlet pipe of accepted stock in the upper conical vessel, and a jar at the bottom part where the rejects were further cleaned. The goal cleaning efficiency of the new cleaner was verified when it was used in wastepaper pulp treatment.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Alkali liquor uniform penetration into the cotton linter and the uniformity of the temperature distribution are key factors affecting the quality of the cotton pulp cooking in a global digester. Traditional methods of cooking and heating caused poor liquid penetration effect, uneven impregnation and temperature higher at the upper part than the lower part in the digester due to the fat and wax content in cotton litter and the global digester strcture, it was difficult to produce homogeneous pulp. The paper suggested the measures including using large liquor ration for penetration but small liquor ration for cooking; carrying out penetration in a pre-penetration tank; directionally heating by using a center steam pipe and applying new scraper and twin screw extrusion impregnation technology could effectively improve the cooking quality and efficiency.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The analysis of pulp and paper production process indicated that, the temperature of water supplied from secondary pumping station is lower than 20℃ in winter. It is 5~10℃ lower compared with the water temperature 25~30℃ in summer, which causes the whole production systems at high energy consumption in winter. On the other hand most of the warm water generated from plate heat exchange in the alkali recovery plant was recycled after cooling down to lower than 30℃, it also causes the lose of water heat and increasing energy consumption of (water temperature 45～50℃) the circulating water station cooling tower system. This paper suggested the waste water from evaporation stage back into the clear water reserviors of secondary pumping,to improve the production water temperature in winter, reduce production energy consumption．]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Cotton stalk bio oxidation mechanical pulping and trial production of the unbleached paper towel using the pulp were introduced in this paper. The results indicated that, hemicelluloses and lignin were remained as much as possible during the bio- oxidation mechanical pulp-ing of cotton stalk, the pulping yield was high, and there were no alkali, chlorine and effluent discharge during pulping. Adding dispersant in wet end, and spraying surface stripping agent on the surface of dryers, the paper towel with high strength and good absorption was produced, water absorption was good. The consumptions of water, electricity and steam were relatively low. The green and environment friendly paper towel could meet the demand of market.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The application of  enzyme converted starch to take place of oxidized starch in carbonless base paper production was studied. The optimum enzyme conversion conditions were as follows, the amylase dosage was 500 mL/t starch, reaction time was 15~20 minutes, inactivation  temperature was 95℃, inactivation time was 10 minutes. The preparation process conditions of the enzyme converted starch were determined as well. The pilot plant test showed that compared with using oxidized starch, the longitudinal stiffness increased about 30 mN·mm, the surface strength increased about 0.1 m/s, the cost of the paper per ton saved 53.5 yuan when the enzyme converted starch was used as surface sizing agent.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The necessity of the application of medium-consistency pressure screen in reconsitituted tobacco papermaking process was introduced. The debugging and trial operation of medium-consistency pressure screen in the process of making reconsitituted tobacco were summarized， it revealed that the concentration of the pulp entering into the pressure screen， the pressure difference of the entering pulp and the accepted pulp of the pressure screen， the flow rate of the tailings， the consistencies of the accepted pulp and the tailings played an important role in steady operation of the pressure screen. The pulp after beating under the same condition was received， the proportion of too long or too short fiber in the received pulp was reduced， the fiber length distribution was improved significantly. The percentage of the fiber retained in 20 mesh and in between 80～300 mesh decreased by 19.0%， 50.6%， respectively. The percentage of the fiber in between 20～50 mesh and in between 50～80 mesh increased 42.5%， 10.2%， respectively， beating degree of the pulp increased 33.8%， wet weight of the pulp decreased 19.8% after receiving， the variation of the basis weight， thickness， coated rate of the reconsitituted tobacco was no more than ±1.5%， tensile strength of reconsitituted tobacco increased 19.4% which was of benefit to reduce paper break times， increasing operational stability of the paper machine and the production efficiency．]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Composite mineral fibers were used as filler adding in the core layer of coated white board. When the dosage of composite mineral fibers was 5%, the concentration of white water under the forming wire decreased by 14.7%, the opening of stock valve and stock flow of the core layer decreased, and the pulp consumption was saved. The internal bonding strength of the board increased by 37.4 J/m<sup>2</sup>, the CD stiffness and the MD stiffness decreased by 15.7% and 16.9% respectively . Under the acceptable condition of paper property, the production cost of coated white board could be reduced by RMB 45~60 per ton by using composite mineral fibers as filler.]]></description>

The source of impurity and constituent in the siging strch were analyzed. And combined with the laboratory findings，a complete operation scheme of the scheming sizing starch purification was developed. The fibers and large impurities in the starch could be effectively removed. Viscosity and concentration of the starch in the process of circulation were stabilized after rebuilding. The burst strength and folding endurance of the linerboard were improved in various degrees. The times and frequency of paper break were decreased, and missing coating phenomena couldbe avoided.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The iron of Fenton sludge from Guangzhou Paper mill wastewater treatment system was recovered by using acid leaching， and high efficient flocculant polymeric ferric sulfate（PFS） was further prepared in pilot scale test.The optimized conditions were found to be 2 h for first reaction with sulfuric acid neutralization and followed by 2 h iron reduction reaction， the solid concentrations of 25.0% to 26.7% ferrous sulfate solution was prepared.For subsequent preparation of polymeric ferric sulfate（PFS） preparation， the ferrous sulfate solution was catalytic oxidized by sodium chlorate， the basicity of resulting PFS was 10.8%.The flocculation effect of the prepared PFS on the anaerobic effluent of Guangzhou Paper mill was preliminarily evaluated.The research showed that the effluent COD<sub>Cr</sub> could be reduced to 260 mg/L， the corresponding COD<sub>Cr</sub> removal rate reached 71.0% when the addition amount of the prepared aqueous solution of PFS was 5 mL/L．]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[To explore the effects of new flame retardants （LD and APP） on flame retardancy of cigarette paper with low ignition propensity （LIP）. Flame retardants LD， APP and their mixture were used to prepare the coatings respectively， which were used to product low ignition tendency cigarette sheet sample by using coating process. The properties of smoldering rate， full-length combustion ratio and diffusivity of retardant zone of the cigarettes prepared with the sheet sample were analyzed. The test results showed that when the flame retardant LD or APP was used alone， both of them had flame retardant property. Flame retardant LD had better flame retardant performance than flame retardant APP， but when flame retardant LD was used alone for coating， there existed boundary diffusion penetration phenomenon in the flame retardant zone, and with the increase of LD dosage， the flame retardant LD on the flame retardant band was prone to drop off powder. The problems existing in the use of flame retardant LD alone， could be solved by using the combination of flame retardants LD and APP. When the content of flame retardants LD and APP reached about 16%, full-length combustion ratio was 20%， and diffusivity was about 1.000 cm/s， the performance of LIP cigarette paper could meet the requirements.]]></description>

The wastewater treatment adopted the process of pretreatment + aerobic biological treatment + coagulation sedimentation + Fenton oxidation，and the effluent (COD<sub>Cr</sub>≤50 mg/L and SS≤13 mg/L) was subsequently treated by the process of pretreatment + ultrafiltration reverse osmosis process in order to implement recycling. The COD<sub>Cr</sub> of produced water from reverse osmosis was less than 10 mg/L and TDS was less than 180 mg/L. The system recovery rate was 70% and the desalination rate was 97%. The recycled water was sent to the original water pool of the plant, which provided 15.12 million m<sup>3</sup> of water per year to the enterprise, accounting for about 50% of the total water consumption of the enterprise, greatly alleviating the pressure of the enterprise's water supply.]]></description>

The effect of the amounts of cement, activator, light weight material and organic polymer as well as technological conditions on the specific surface area of self-made ceramsite were studied by using orthogonal experiment method. The optimum ratio of raw materials was found: fly ash 71%, cement 10%, activator 10%, lightweight material 7%, organic polymer porous agent 2%. The properties of self-made fly ash ceramsite were as follows: specific surface area 12.94 m<sup>2</sup>/g, bulk density 0.71 g/cm<sup>3</sup>, water absorption 19.5%, compressive strength 4.01 MPa. In this experiment, the optimum time for preparating non-sintered fly ash ceramsite was determined to be 8 h. Through the comparison test of self-made ceramsite and activated carbon particles in an aerated biological filter, the biological performance of self-made ceramsite was similar to that of activated carbon particles, but the cost of the ceramsite was only 1/7 of that of activated carbon particles. Its application in waste water treatment in Shandong Huatai Paper Industry Co., Ltd. annual cost could save of 1.5 million yuan ,with obvious benefit.]]></description>

The activated sludge spraying process could remove 50% hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas, and reduced the liquid alkali consumption at the end chemical spraying stage (as low as 200 kg/d on average). Finally, the concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas exhausted from the 15 m emission funnel met the requirements of the discharge standard for odorous pollutants (GB 14554—1993).]]></description>

The analysis showed that the main reasons were low surface strength of the paper, the surface strength two-sidedness. This paper mainly discussed how to increase the surface strength of the paper, and improve the surface strength of the wire side. By optimizing refining process,adjusting retention and filtration system of wet end， paper strength was increased，by adjusting the dewatering curve of the wire section, the surface strength of wire side could be significantly improved. Finally tuning sizing parameters, adjusting drying curve and increasing soft calendering linear pressure were also benefit to upgrading the paper surface strength.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[A paper mill in Yunnan Province mainly produces recycled kraft liner board and high-strength corrugating medum with recycled paper. Its annual output is 250000 tons. and comprehensive waste water treatment capacity is 8000 m<sup>3</sup>/d. The COD<sub>Cr</sub> of the waste water is less than 5000 mg / L. The flocculation precipitation + hydrolysis acidification + HZIC + AB process was used to treat the waste water. After treatment, COD<sub>Cr</sub> ≤ 90 mg/L, met local discharge standards. This paper mainly introduced the processing effect and process parameters of the HZIC processing unit and AB system and analyzed the economic and environmental benefits of the process. The production practice of the paper mill proved that the waste water treatment process was stable, reliable and cost-effective. It provides a strong guarantee for the clean production of the paper mill.]]></description>

Based on the length of recyclable tobacco fiber, the filter and screening efficiencies of different screening equipment such as sieve bend screen，selectifier screen，fabric filter，etc were investigated. The result showed that fabric filter was better than the other two for white water treatment.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The drawbacks of the existing coating system in reconstituted tobacco production were analyzed， the influence of spraying technology on the production and quality of reconstituted tobacco was studied. The results showed that the viscosity and dregs of the new coating liquid system were reduced by 17.78% and 24.52% when the spraying technology was applied， the permeability of coating liquid was improved. The crosswise distribution uniformity of potassium ions in the product was improved by 68.49% without affecting the physical quality， chemical quality and sensory quality of the product.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In order to study the effect of different kinds of hardwood pulp on the physical index of cigarette paper and the characteristics of its fiber morphology， 11 kinds of hardwood pulp were observed and measured， the paper making and production verification were carried out. The results showed that the air permeability of the paper was greatly affected by fibre length-width ratio， wet weight， beating degree and paper density. The spiral marking intensity of Poplar pulp cigarette paper was 23.5%，which was the best . Northern European poplar pulp was suitable for the production of cigarette paper with high basis weight and high-permeability. Southern American No.1 eucalyptus pulp， Southern European eucalyptus pulp， and Southern American No.2 eucalyptus pulp were suitable for the production of cigarette paper with low basis weight， high-permeability or highbasis weight and high-permeability. Southern American No.3 eucalyptus pulp and Yunnan eucalyptus pulp were suitable for the production of low basis weight and low air permeability cigarette paper. The above 11 kinds of hardwood pulp could produce high basis weight and low air permeability cigarette paper.]]></description>
