<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In this study， the heavy metal content of burning agent and filler used in cigarette paper and the changes of heavy metal content of fiber raw materials in each beating stages were investigated. The results showed that a small amount of Cr in the burning agent was one of the sources of Cr in cigarette paper. And the filler contained heavy metal elements like As， Pb， Cd， Cr and Ni， especially Cr and Ni， which were the main source of heavy metal elements in cigarette paper. Additionally， the content of heavy metals in fiber raw material was very limited， so beating process was another important source of heavy metal in cigarette paper.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Taking the woodchip rejects filled from the chip screening systems of a papermaking mill as the raw material， the lab-scale process and industrial process of caustic soda semi-chemical pulping were studied. The results showed that pulp with a high yield and ring crush strength was obtained via semi-chemical pulping from woodchip rejects， of which the properties were significantly affected by the alkaline dosage. The breaking length and ring crush index of the pulp pretreated with 14% NaOH followed by two-stage high-consistency refining process with paper concentration of 22% could reach 2.89 km and 9.76 N·m/g， respectively， which was 1.9 times and 1.2 times higher than that of the paper pretreated with 8% NaOH， and also better than the OCC paper used in the domestic mill at present. Furtherly， the indicators of the paper obtained in the industrial process were consistent with the laboratory. The tightness and ring crush strength of the prepared paper reached AA grade and A grade of corrugation medium in GB/T 13023—2008.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Taking a carbonless copy paper manufacturer in Guangxi as an example， the wastewater of carbonless copy paper coating was treated with a combination of primary physicochemical method （high-efficiency wastewater purifier）， biochemical method （tower biological filter） and deep oxidation （Fenton oxidation）.The results showed that COD<sub>Cr</sub> removal rate of this process was 97.8%， the BOD<sub>5</sub> removal rate was 98.3%， and the SS removal rate was 95.9% for wastewater of carbonless copy paper coating.All of quality indicators of the treated wastewater met the discharge standards stipulated in GB 3544—2008.]]></description>

The material replacement of existing equipment， the addition of pre-hydrolysis system， the convertion of steam system， water system， chemicals and other systems were expounded， and the influence of alkali recovery system was introduced. It was shown that it was feasible to converted traditional kraft pulping into dissolved pulp. After the convertion， enterprises could switch pulp types according to market conditions to achieve maximum profit.]]></description>

The original biochemical treatment system （A/O） was transformed to two-stage treatment to reduce the concentration of pollutants in the biochemical effluent and stabilize the COD<sub>Cr</sub> of effluent at about 100 mg/L. The waste water from original low-concentration direct-draining pipe network was reused， which was used as one of the influent water sources of the second-stage ultrafiltration system after A/O treatment for twice. The original Fenton process in the first phase and the pretreatment of reclaimed water in the second phase were improved to the activated carbon powder adsorption process. The results showed that the equipment investment cost of optimization of the first phase system and new construction of the second phase system was about ¥12.2 million， civil construction cost of which was about ¥9.07 million， and the actual operating cost （excluding labor costs） of which was about ¥2.45/t.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[With the development of the papermaking industry and national increasingly strict requirements for the treatment of the “three wastes”， the disposal of papermaking sludge has become an important issue restricting the clean production and sustainable development of the papermaking industry. In this study， aerobic biodegradation drying process was adopted to reduce and harmlessly treat papermaking sludge. After continuous operation， the results showed that when the bacterial bed temperature was 60~80 ℃ with water content of 24%~40%， the treated sludge with water content of 20%~30% and particle size ≤ 5 mm， was in the form of fine sand particles. After 6 cycles of continuous operation， the sludge reduction rate was 76.4%， fecal coli was negative， and <i>Ascaris lumbricoides</i> eggs were not detected. The sludge treatment of aerobic biodegradation and drying process did not need auxiliary heat， the effect was stable， the treatment cost was low （equivalent sludge treatment cost ￥166.83 /t）， the sludge reduction effect was good， the disposal product was easy to resource utilization， which met the requirements of papermaking enterprises for papermaking sludge disposal.]]></description>

The recovered heat of condensate water from final tank of the steam system for paper machines was able to drive the chillers of air conditioners in electrical and instrument rooms. By comparing with traditional electrical air condition system， non-recurring investment， and annual power consumption of hot water type absorption water chiller design scheme were analyzed and the calculation indicated that investment recovery period was about 2.87 years. This design could be a reference for the low-grade heat utilization of condensate water before returning to public power plant.]]></description>

The main failure factors of refiner plate were discussed by means of microstructure characterization， hardness testing， and impurity morphological analysis. The non-metallic impurity and casting defects directly affected the wear performance of refiner plate. However， the second phase precipitated carbide in the microstructure could strengthen the matrix so as to enhance the wear resistance. This research provided technical direction to further improve the wear resistance and stability of the refiner plate material.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[With the advancement of urbanization， many factories were even closer to residential areas and urban areas. The exhaust originally up to standard began to have more and more obvious impacts on the surroundings， such as white plume， corrosion， bad odor， etc. Some local environmental protection department even started to require factories to deodorize and demist exhaust from wet section and closed hood of paper machine. In addition， the exhaust contained a large amount of moisture， and recycling water through the air hood exhaust system could greatly reduce the entire project water consumption and pressure of wastewater treatment.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In this paper， the modeling method and key monitoring indexes of the pulp and concentrate equilibrium model for reconstituted tobacco were introduced. Combined with the application of the model in the actual production， commonly used adjustment measures were revealed in detail when "pulp" and "concentrate" were not matched. Meanwhile， the application effect of the equilibrium model was analyzed. The optimization direction of the model was also proposed. The results showed that after applying the pulp and concentrate equilibrium model established in this study， the concentrate consumption of product was reduced from 0.90 t/t to 0.82 t/t， the pulp consumption of product was reduced from 24.6 m<sup>3</sup>/t to 22.5 m<sup>3</sup>/t， the effective utilization rate of tobacco raw materials was significantly increased， the input-output fluctuation rate was reduced from 7.48% to 5.80%， and the stability of continuous production operation and product quality was significantly improved.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Residual fume and lime from an alkali recovery boiler were used to produce its self-prepared light calcium carbonate （PCC） for offset paper production. Compared with purchased PCC， the ash dosage of paper with self-prepared PCC was improved by 4 percentage points， opacity and whiteness were improved by 2 percentage points and 3 percentage points， respectively. After project commissioning， when the total cost of filler was kept constant， the average basis weight of offset paper was reduced by 0.3 g/m<sup>2</sup>， opacity was improved by 2 percentage points， smoothness was improved by 3 s， and thickness and print surface strength were also slightly improved.]]></description>
