Affected by the status quo of the paper industry structure in China and the coal-based energy structure， the low-carbon paper making in our country is facing huge challenges in the future. The integrated construction of forest-pulp-paper is of great significance for giving full play to the carbon sink benefits generated by the construction of fast-growing forests and promoting the low-carbon paper making. This paper expounded the significance of forest， pulp and paper integration for low-carbon development of papermaking in China from the perspective of the effect of forest carbon sink on ecological carbon sequestration， the development of plantation forests in China and the current situation of forest-pulp-paper integration.

The international standards on GHG emissions accounting were analyzed firstly in this paper， the current carbon accounting methods applicable to the pulp and paper industry were proposed， including emission factor method and life cycle evaluation method. Emission factor method quantified carbon emissions from the pulp and paper process mainly at the organizational level， and the core of its calculation was activity level multiplied by emission factor. Life cycle evaluation method was a life cycle analysis method to study paper products from cradle to gate or cradle to grave from product level， including definition of objectives and scope， life cycle inventory analysis， life cycle impact evaluation， interpretation of results， etc.

http://zgzz.ijournals.cn/zgzzen/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=202308003&flag=1

In this paper， the calculation model of carbon emission and carbon intensity in pulping production process was established， and three typical cooking technologies of Displacement Digester System（DDS）， Kamyr and Pandia steaming system were analyzed. The results showed that the carbon intensity of DDS was lower than that of Kamyr and Pandia. The three pulping technologies were all “zero carbon”， which had certain carbon reduction ability. Among them， the carbon reduction amount of the pulping system based on DDS （1531.48 kgCO2 e/adt） was stronger than that of Kamyr （1141.77 kgCO2e/adt） and that of Pandia （924.52 kgCO2e/adt）. The energy generated by alkali recovery system met the whole pulping process such as cooking， screen washing and bleaching. The carbon emission of cooking and alkali recovery systems accounted for 26.78% and 65.85%， which were the main targets of carbon reduction.

Enterprise is the elementary unit of industry，the “zero carbon” construction of enterprises will play a leading role in the industrial field.Based on the analysis of the typical “zero carbon” factory creation at home and abroad， and the natural green attribute of paper industry， studied on the advantages of creating “zero carbon” factories in typical forest-pulp-paper integration enterprises. The measures were proposed to optimize energy structure， adopt energy saving and carbon reduction measures， improve the energy utilization efficiency， strengthen intelligent management， study and apply the new energy saving and carbon reduction technology. The case studies showed that the forest-pulp-paper integration enterprise could achieve the goal of “zero carbon” factories， and had negative carbon emission potential also.
